Theme Description

The Bible is a collection of 66 books written in 7 various genres from 49 different authors over a period of around 1,500 years; yet, miraculously, it tells a unified story all pointing to the saving work of Jesus! Sometimes it is hard to reconcile the tone of the Old Testament with the New Testament, but this year, girls will see how God is consistent in character, goodness and faithfulness from Genesis all the way to Revelation, and how He continues to be consistent and active in our lives today! Part of our calling as believers is to live out our identity in Christ by sharing the Gospel and fulfilling the Great Commission. Jesus said, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20). The best way to start is with your own story. No one can argue with our personal experience of how God has worked in our lives; and it is powerful. Not only will girls learn how the Bible is a unified story, but they will process how God has worked in their personal lives and write their own stories. Yes, a middle schooler has a story to tell, and it is a very important one!
